About Amara
Amara by Convex Healthcare is a senior care service that provides non-clinical home care, day-care, short-stay care and everyday support for elders. We focus on daily living, safety, companionship and coordination, not on hospital-style medical treatment.
Amara is operated by Convex Healthcare, which is part of the Zamit–QAI skills and healthcare ecosystem. This means our caregivers and teams are trained and supervised using structured, standards-aligned programmes, not just informal experience.
Services & Coverage
We offer:
- Home care for elders at home
- Day-care at the Amara centre
- Short-stay / respite care for a few days or weeks
- Everyday support & home management (light housekeeping, meals etc.)
- 24×7 helpline & emergency coordination
- Access to nurses, physiotherapy, diagnostics and doctors through partners
You can start with just one service (for example, only home care or only day-care) or combine services. Our team will help you choose the right mix for your situation.
[Add your current coverage, e.g.: “We currently serve families in Gurgaon and select neighbouring areas. Day-care and short-stay are available at our Amara centre in ______.”]
Care Team & Quality
Our caregivers and centre teams are recruited, trained and supervised through Convex Healthcare systems. They are oriented to elder care, communication, safety and professional behaviour, and are monitored regularly.
Yes. We carry out identity and background checks as part of our onboarding process, and we work with clear codes of conduct, reporting and supervision.
We use:
- Structured training and assessment
- Clear care plans and task lists
- Regular supervision and feedback
- Family input and periodic reviews
This helps keep care consistent, safe and respectful for elders and families.
Absolutely. We understand that needs can change over time. We work with families to make any necessary adjustments to ensure the highest level of comfort and support.
Emergency & Safety
Through our 24×7 helpline, we:
- Take emergency calls from elders or family
- Coordinate with ambulances and hospitals
- Inform family members and share updates
- Stay involved until the situation stabilises
Amara is not an ambulance or hospital, but we make sure someone is there to help and coordinate.
Yes. With your consent, we keep key information such as:
- Emergency contacts
- Preferred hospital/doctor
- Basic medical history & medicines
This helps us respond faster and more accurately during emergencies.
Clinical Services & Limitations
Amara itself focuses on non-clinical care. Clinical decisions and treatments are always handled by doctors and qualified medical professionals. We can help arrange:
- Nurses
- Physiotherapists
- Doctor tele-consults
- Lab tests and equipment rental
through trusted partners.
No. Those are clinical tasks that must be done by qualified nurses or doctors. Our caregivers support with daily living, supervision and basic routines, not medical procedures.
Plans, Pricing & Flexibility
Pricing depends on:
- Type of service (home care, day-care, short-stay etc.)
- Number of hours and days
- Duration (short-term or long-term)
- Any partner clinical services you add
We share a clear proposal before starting and help you choose a plan that fits your needs and budget.
Yes. We offer simple Amara Care Plans (for example, Essential / Daily Comfort / Complete) as well as a Build Your Own Care Plan option for families who need something more tailored.
In most cases, yes. Care needs change over time. We review your plan with you and, with reasonable notice, can adjust hours, frequency, services or even shift between home care, day-care and short-stay.
Getting Started
You can:
- Fill the online enquiry form on our website
- Call or WhatsApp us
- Request a call back
Our care advisor will speak with you, understand your situation and suggest suitable options.
To start, we usually ask for:
- Elder’s age and basic health details

- Type of support you’re looking for
- Your preferred start date and timings
We may then do a more detailed assessment before finalising the plan.
